Today is the day guys!!!!!!!
As promised: 2019 Fall sessions are now open for booking.
I know, I know!!!! It’s way early. Technically, here in South Dakota summer just showed up. But I have so much coming up I need to get me schedule in order. Plus, this gives you guys some extra time to plan.
Fall is my favorite season. How can it not be? Crisp, fresh autumn air, hoodies, boots, and the beautiful colors that everyone wants their family pictures taken with.
What does fall season mean for me? Change. I don’t know why but I love change. I think it’s the Army brat in me. When you never really live in one place too long change almost becomes necessary. You kind of live for it. I’ve obviously lived here in SD forever, but ask my family how often they walk in the door at home and the furniture is moved and rearranged, LOL!!!! I think it symbolizes a fresh start. The school year, our dance year, and all other kind of things begin in the fall (or I guess right at the very end of summer). Anyway.
The whole change thing is bringing me to that Countdown to Fall. I started it last year. I kept up with it on a somewhat regular basis, even if I was posting 10 pictures at a time because I missed those in between days. But, I’m going to try to be better about it this year. So here’s the deal: The reason I love doing that #CountdownToFall is because I get to pull out all my old work from previous seasons. Not only do I love the warm and fuzzy pictures, but I kind of get to go back and see the change in my work. I get to see the growth as a photographer, an artist, and as a person. Sometimes I cringe at some of the early pictures. But, we all start somewhere and in this business and the best way to learn is to pick up the camera and use all the buttons and dials. Eventually, you figure out what they can all do and you start using them together to create some pretty awesome stuff. 🙂
So, keep reading because the session info for this season will be below. But, check out just a few of my favorite oldies from fall seasons past!
OK!!! This year you guys can book weekends and week nights with me. This is a very tricky season because the colors only last a little while. All it takes to reserve your date for a session is a non-refundable 50% session retainer that will be applied to your total. Remaining balance is due two days before our arranged session date. Should you decide to just go ahead and pay for the session all at once, you will receive a $50 print credit from me. You can use it to choose some prints from your fall session or save it for any future sessions. 🙂 Check out the session info below. If you’re ready to book, just follow the link and shoot me a message!!!
I’m so excited for these sessions and to see some of the littles from past families!!! It’s insane how much they change from one year to the next!!!!
Keep an eye out tomorrow for my first post in my “Featured Photog Friday” blog series. You won’t want to miss checking out the featured photographer!
