Sooooo, are you looking to book a newborn session soon but have a few questions?
Well, let me answer the top 4 most frequently asked questions that I get. Maybe this will answer some of the things you’ve been wondering about!
I always tell people to wear what they are comfortable in. I always want you to be comfortable throughout your entire session. Stepping in front of the camera is hard enough. You’ve just had a baby and I personally live in leggins and hoodies. But, color wise my personal recommendation is to wear something neutral. White, cream, khaki, olive green. No logos or labels on the clothing. My favorites are the whites and off whites. They look so pretty with the backdrop I use for my newborn parent and family shots!
However, like I said, other colors are fine too. The main thing is to really just try to stick to solid colors and no logos. 🙂
The answer is you don’t! I provide headbands, wraps, and bonnets. But, if there is a family heirloom or something special you want to include in your session. Pleassssseeee do bring it. I want your pictures to be exactly what you envisioned them to be! Little Charlotte brought her family tartan and Madi brought her Daddy’s uniform!
Well, I work on baby time. That’s what I always say, lol. The baby has to be comfortable at all times. If all the tips and tricks have failed that usually work and the baby is still not settled comfortably, then we reschedule. I in no way ever want you or your little to be upset or unsettled during our time together. I keep special slots available for just this reason. Some days a baby might just be off and not feeling the camera thing. And that is totally OK. So, we start fresh.
Absolutely. I offer two different types of studio newborn session. The Mini Newborn and the Complete Newborn. The Complete Newborn session includes poses with siblings, parents, the whole family, and if grandparents come along I have included some poses with them as well!!! I personally think that it’s so important to include everyone when possible.
So, just one more thing. All my newborn clients receive a prep guide for their session from me a few days before we are scheduled to shoot. It’s a PDF that included location, phone number, tips and tricks to help get you and baby ready for the shoot!!!
I hope this answered some of the questions you guys may have been thinking about and if you’re ready to book, message me in the link HERE! I’d be happy to answer any other questions you may have!!!
Until next time peeps!!!
